Denise Richards Back In Court

Denise Richards must really think Charlie Sheen is bad news, because she was back in court today with her lawyer Neal Hersh to ask for an emergency restraining order for Charlie to stay away from the kids.

She says she wants a psychologist to look into things at Charlie's house because she feels there's something seriously wrong with him that should affect him being able to see the kids.

Hersh said today, "These are serious issues regarding the children. I would hope we will be graced by Charlie Sheen's presence in court on Monday — if he takes these matters seriously regarding his children, like Denise does."

Wonder what the mystery "illness" is that's plaguing Charlie? Because not for nothing, but Denise seems like she's one can short of a six pack herself.

Denise and Charlie Top Nastiest Divorce List

Hollywood is infamous for nasty divorces, when we think 'bad divorce' the first couple that comes to mind is Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen. So it's really no wonder that they've topped the list of 'Hollywood's Nastiest Split' conducted by In Touch Magazine. Who else made the cut? Here are the top 5 nastiest divorces:

1. Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen
2. Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills
3. Anne Heche and Coley Laffoon
4. Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin
5. Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook

Do you agree with the list? Which couple do you think should have been number 1?

How the Stars Rang In the New Year

The 2008 may be over, but chances are some of your favorite celebrities still haven't made it home from their wild New Years Eve parties. Stars flocked to Sin City Las Vegas and Miami to ring in the New Year with their privileged entourages and family members. Here's a breakdown of who rocked what club in what city.

Carmen Electra served as the mistress of ceremonies of the New Year’s celebrations at TAO Las Vegas. Fiancé Rob Patterson was by her side the whole night and let her shine in the spotlight as she conducted the countdown in the DJ booth.

Brody Jenner was also celebrating at TAO with girlfriend Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole and mom Linda Thompson. After some major PDA with his girlfriend, Brody made his way to the DJ booth with his mom and rocked out to the sounds of DJ Vice and hyped up the packed house of club goers.

New mom Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz played host at Pure nightclub. Ashlee and Pete were full of excitement for it was their first night on the town since the birth of baby Bronx. After sharing a few passionate New Year’s kisses and feeding pieces of cake to each other, the couple retreated back inside to their VIP table where they drank Grey Goose cocktails and danced the night away.

The couple everyone loves to hate, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt attended to their hosting duties over at Christian Audigier The Nightclub. While sipping on Dom Perignon Champagne, the duo happily posed for photos with fans. It pays to be a reality star!

One of the biggest Sin City New Year's Eve bashes was inside LAX Nightclub at Luxor where Kim Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe were joined by a slew of celebrity friends and family to ring in 2009 in true Las Vegas style.

The reality show sisters were joined by Kim’s boyfriend Reggie Bush, brother Robert Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, step father Bruce Jenner, Brittny Gastineau and “Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis, among others.

Prive Las Vegas kicked off another year with a celebrity bash hosted by Denise Richards and Lance Bass. The "It's Complicated" star arrived at the nightclub with her father Irv right before midnight and was reportedly nervous about getting up and doing the countdown in front of thousands of Prive's New Year's Eve guests but co-host Lance Bass helped to ease her concerns.

At Midnight, Bass and Richards headed to the DJ booth to welcome in 2009 to roaring sirens and a large confetti drop. Following the countdown, the two danced at Richards' VIP table where the Prive cocktail waitresses brought out a Magnum of Dom Perignon to celebrate. How do we become apart of that entourage?

Heading East, Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum hosted the annual New Year's Eve bash in Miami at Shore Club's Skybar. This year Gerard Butler helped countdown to the New Year along with guests including Jared Leto, Kristin Cavallari and 90210's Annalynne McCord and former 90210 star Ian Ziering.

Hope your News Years was safe and fun, wishing you guys all the best in the upcoming year. How did you ring in your New Years?

Karina and Maksim Dish On Wedding Plans

Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy just announced their engagement last month, and wedding plans are already well underway!

The two are knee deep in rehearsals for Dancing with the Stars, so it’s a wonder they’re able to get any planning done.

Hollyscoop got a chance to speak with Karina and Maksim at the Haven: An Evening Of Style event, and it may surprise you that their roles seem to be reversed!

When we asked Karina if it would be a long engagement given the fact that they’re two very busy people, she told us, “No, he wants to get married before the end of this year, so so far I've gone along with his ideas and they've been good!

"It will be a big wedding cause we have a lot of family- our "small" engagement party turned into like an eighty person party. It was mostly his family.”

It sounds like Maksim definitely wears the pants. Usually it’s the girl who wants to get married right away, but in their case, it’s Maksim!

As far as how the actual plans are going, Karina told Hollyscoop, “We just want to be together, but now everyone in the family has a say so I’m getting nervous- but he's been so good. A lot more agreeable since we got engaged actually!”

Denise Richards is Selling Her Funbags

The FunnyorDie editors are busy this week! Another hilarious one of their videos has been released, and this one stars the one and only Denise Richards.

She stars in an infomercial in which she’s selling her Funbags. And before you get the wrong idea, Funbags are party favors!

We have to hand it to Denise for being able to poke fun at herself. It’s no Lindsay Lohan eHarmony ad, but it’s still funny! Check out the video below.

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards Kiss and Make Up

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards had one of the most bitter divorces in Hollywood history, but they may be finding a way to be more civil to each other.

Surprisingly, Charlie and Denise had dinner together not too long ago. And Charlie’s new wife Brooke Mueller even came too! Denise tells The Daily 10, "So I love that... It's important for our daughters to see us get along and to be able to be in the same room."

She adds: "I think anytime you go through a divorce it's such a huge change in your life, and obviously my divorce was very public and it got very nasty... Charlie and I didn't want that -- we didn't want all the conflict and this and that, and that's just what the situation was."

Denise claims she and Charlie have put all the baggage of their 2006 divorce behind them. She says, "We've worked very hard to get it to this place, and I'm so grateful for it. I think it's important for, you know... It's a lot less stress, it's a lot less money, that we get along."

"I don't have a choice but to get past it. You know, I don't read a lot of that stuff obviously -- I'm not stupid. I know what's said in most of it, but it's just moving forward in my life and at that time when it was really bad in my life, I didn't think about that stuff. I had to think about, 'I'm a Mom, I have two daughters that depend on me.' So I put all that stuff aside and I kind of just live in a little bubble. I like things very calm and happy."

You can catch Denise’s interview with The Daily 10 interview tonight at 7:30PM on E! And the season premiere of Denise Richards It’s Complicated airs June 7th. Think Charlie will be making a cameo this season?

Denise Richards Advises Girls Not to Get Boob Jobs

Denise Richards was a guest on Howard Stern’s SIRIUS radio show today, and surprise, surprise, the topic of conversation turned to boobs. Is there anything else Howard thinks about all day?

As you may or may not know, Denise’s assets up top are not her own. In fact, she had to go under the knife three different times for them to look decent! Denise told Howard that she got her first boob job when she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She said, "I was 19, and my roommate had the best boobs ever, and she had just had hers done. I was flat as a board, and I thought 'Whoa, you can just buy them' and stupidly had them done!"

Denise said her first operation left her looking a little too top heavy, so she decided to give it another whirl. She told Howard, "The next guy put bigger ones in, and it was not good -- they were a D!"

So two botched jobs under the knife would turn a lot of people off of doing it a third time. But not Denise! She had a third breast enhancement done, and this time, it fixed the work of the previous two.

Denise said, "I was young and should have researched better. You know, it was a big mistake. Young girls, don't do it!"

More like, “Find a good surgeon!”

Early life and career
Denise was born in Downers Grove, Illinois,[2] the daughter of Joni, a coffee shop owner, and Irv "Big Dicks" Richards, a telephone engineer. She is of Croatian and Welsh descent. She has one sister, Michelle, and grew up in both Mokena and Downers Grove, Illinois. She graduated in 1989 from El Camino High School in Oceanside, California. As a child, she was a tomboy, the "only girl on the baseball team".[3]

Before she was an actress, Richards was a fashion model. She spent the majority of the 1990s appearing in lower-budget films and TV shows like Saved by the Bell, television movies, and guest starring in episodes of several television shows such as Married with Children (1991), a 5 second walk through. Her first starring role in a wide theatrical release was Starship Troopers in 1997, which was followed by her role in the moderately successful cult film Wild Things in 1998.[4]

Richards was cast as the nuclear-physicist Christmas Jones in the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (1999), which had a high box office gross. Though she considered her role "brainy", "athletic", and having depth of character,[5] she was criticized as not credible in it.[6][7] Her outfit, which often comprised a low-cut tank top and tight shorts, elicited comments.[8] She was ranked as the worst Bond girl of all time by Entertainment Weekly in 2008,[9] and was chosen as "Worst Supporting Actress" at the 1999 Razzie Awards for the role.[10]

In addition to her film work, Richards made regular appearances in the situation comedies Spin City, Two and a Half Men, Friends and Seinfeld. She also starred in the short-lived UPN series Sex, Love & Secrets in 2005.

Denise Richards in 1999 at the premiere of The World Is Not EnoughThroughout the early 2000s, Richards appeared in several film roles which both parodied and utilized her image as a sex symbol, including Valentine, Undercover Brother and Scary Movie 3. In December 2004, she posed for a nude pictorial in Playboy magazine, five months after giving birth.[11]. Richards also posed semi-nude for the July 2006 issue of Jane magazine to raise money for the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation. In 1999, she ranked 9 in Maxim's 50 Sexiest Women and in 2001 she was voted 2nd in FHM's USA 100 Sexiest Women, 5th in FHM 100 Sexiest Women and 19 in AskMen.com 50 Most Beautiful Women.

Richards appeared on the 8th season of Dancing with the Stars, paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. She was eliminated second on March 24, 2009. Richards sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field on May 1, 2009.

Personal life
In 2002, Richards married actor Charlie Sheen, with whom she appeared in Scary Movie 3, in which she played his character's wife who was pinned to a tree in a car accident. They have two daughters, Sam J (born March 9, 2004)[12] and Lola Rose Sheen (born June 1, 2005).[13]

In March 2005, Richards filed for divorce from Sheen.[14] The couple briefly reconciled and were seeking marriage counseling to mend their relationship. However, on January 4, 2006, Richards' representative announced that she was continuing with the divorce, and she later sought a restraining order against Sheen, citing his alleged death threats against her.[15] Richards briefly dated Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora shortly after their respective separations from Sheen and Heather Locklear, ending what Locklear had considered to be a close friendship. Richards once dated actor Patrick Muldoon;[16] she has also been linked to actor John Stamos, whom she dated during her teenage years.[17]

On April 19, 2006, Richards filed formal legal papers asking for a divorce from Sheen under the laws of the state of California.[18] In her court filing, Richards alleged that Sheen's behavior was increasingly erratic, making their marriage impossible, and that she feared for her safety and the safety of their daughters.

Richards claimed that Sheen was physically and verbally abusive and threatened to kill her or have her killed, and that despite having accidentally shot his previous fiancée, Kelly Preston, he wanted to place firearms under their coffee table to protect them. Richards claimed that Sheen had become paranoid and obsessive, citing his belief in 9/11 conspiracy theories, a belief that baby formula caused brain damage, a desire to purchase gas masks, and an "abnormal fascination" with Nicole Simpson's death.

Further, Richards alleged that Sheen visited prostitutes and was addicted to gambling, prescription drugs (which he bought over the Internet), and pornography. Richards also alleged that Sheen posted a picture of his erect penis on his online profile of a "sex-search type" website and that he frequently viewed pornography featuring "very young girls," and websites "involving gay pornography also involving very young men who also did not look like adults."[19] Based on these allegations, Richards sought and received a restraining order against Sheen.[20]

Sheen denied the allegations. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he described Richards' actions as a "smear campaign" and insisted that he was a responsible father who would "give his life for his children." He added that Richards is "the only one entirely culpable for putting these radical allegations out for public consumption... my children included."[21]

On November 8, 2006, officers from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) were called to the River Rock Casino in Richmond, B.C., where Richards was making a movie. After seeing two photographers taking her picture from a nearby balcony, she confronted them, and threw their two laptop computers over the balcony. One laptop struck an 80-year-old woman in a wheelchair. The other laptop grazed the arm of a 91-year-old woman. Neither woman suffered serious injury, and no charges were pressed against Richards.[22][23][24]

On December 1, 2007, it was announced that Richards' mother, Joni, died from cancer.[25]

In 2008, Richards decided to include her two daughters with Charlie Sheen in her confessional reality program on E!, Denise Richards: It's Complicated, which premiered on May 26, 2008. He deemed her plans "greedy, vain and exploitative".[26] On January 25, 2008, Richards won a court case against Sheen so that she can include her daughters in the show.[27] When a judge rejected Sheen's request to block it,[28] Sheen urged fans to boycott it.[29]

An agreement was reached between Sheen and Richards regarding the custody of the children, with Sheen stating in April 2009 that “we had to do what’s best for the girls.”.[30]

In a May 18, 2008 interview with Larry King on Larry King Live, Richards claimed to be raised Catholic and affirmed, "I do have faith."[31]

She is emetophobic.[32] She is deathly afraid of vomiting. She says, "I have a throw-up phobia. I'm terrified of throwing up. I don't know why. It's beyond not enjoying it, (I have) a fear of it. Terrified, ever since I was little."
